Congratulations to the following students for winning the 2025 Jim Burnes Regional Leadership Award. They will be honored with a luncheon and a plaque on May 9th, 2025, at Debra K's Catering in Sesser, IL. The luncheon will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. More information will follow on this event. Just a reminder that the Bowling State T-Shirt Online Store will close on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at midnight. Schools advancing to state from regional play tomorrow and having individuals that want to purchase t-shirts need to get this information.
If you order before the March 18 deadline - you will pick your orders up at the Bowling State Tournament on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the St. Clair Bowl. There are other options for mail orders for an additional fee.

Admission Prices: $5 (9th grade students and older) / $2 (8th grade students and younger) / Baby in arms - Free
Pass Gate: Cheerleaders, players, and those on each school’s pass gate list - use Northwest Entrance to James Waugh Gymnasium
Tournament Programs: Color-printed programs including team pictures will be available on site
Seating: Home team fans (top team on tournament bracket) will sit on the west end of the gym, visiting team fans (bottom team on tournament bracket) will sit on the east end of the gym
Liquid Containers: No one will be allowed to bring drinks or drink containers into the facility. Drinks will be available for purchase at the tournament concession stand.
What you are allowed to bring into the facility regarding signs, poms, noise-makers, etc.?: see SIJHSAA By Law: Article IV, Section 7.
Pets: No pets are allowed in the facility.
Section 7. During all Regional and State contests the SIJHSAA prohibits the use of all types of noisemakers, confetti, radios, shakers, poms (unless used by cheerleaders), rally towels, thunder sticks, camera lights, laser lights, and also tripods in the stands. Signs must be no larger than a legal sized sheet of paper. (8 1/2 X 14) Body painting materials shall not be administered at games or containers brought on game sites. Body paint may be worn on arms and the face. Appropriate shirts must be worn to all events. Bands are limited to the National Anthem. They are not to be used to give a home game atmosphere nor to create noise or to rally the fans.
