Rome grade school will be hosting a 7th grade boys summer basketball tourney. The dates are March 16 & 17. The cost is 100 dollars, each team will get at least 3 games. This sounds like a good Tournament. It would be nice if we could do a 7th grade mock of the State Tourney this year from Class S and see who will be who for next year. To include the final four and possibly the the eilite eight and maybe sweet sixteen but who knows what teams do summer basketball and would be interested. I would definitely love to see Cairo in it with the stud 7th grader they had. We know Okawville is real good for next year and lets see what Clinton County will have next year. This is the time of the year for them 7th graders to showcase their talents. I hope to see some good basketball this summer like we seen this winter.
