3-3-3-2 for first round matches

2-2-2-1  for additional rounds

 

One team trophy is awarded at each regional.

20 individual medallions and 4 team trophies are awarded at the state level.

From ARTICLE XXXI of the SIJHSAA BY-LAWS:

 

  1. Illinois High School Volleyball Rules shall be in effect unless otherwise stated in the SIJHSAA By-Laws.
  2. Scoring shall be 25, 25, and 15.
  3. 15 players, listed among a possible 20 on the eligibility sheet, may dress per match.
  4. “B” or “JV” contests are designated for students in the 7th grade or below.
  5. Numbers placement and color of uniforms may vary from IHSA rules.
  6. At the present time, the SIJHSAA does not place a limitation on the number of games or tournaments  a team may participate in.
  7. Eligibility guidelines are set forth in the early pages of the SIJHSAA By-Laws.
