SIJHSAA Important Announcements Related to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

(As of Wednesday, July 8, 2020)

The SIJHSAA continues to monitor the recommendations of the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), the Illinois State Board of Educaiton, the Governor's Office, and the Illinois High School Association as it relates to coronavirus (COVID-19).  The SIJHSAA will be taking precautions as needed dealing with the coronavirus (COVID-19).  The SIJHSAA doesn't govern summer athletic contacts.  This is solely up to each school.  Hopefully each schools administration adheres to directives from the above mentioned agencies.

The SIJHSAA will tentatively make an official decision on the Fall Sport State Series of Baseball, Softball, Girls Cross Country and Boys Cross Country on Monday, July 20, 2020
